A Friendly Voice offers callers aged 55+ across Ontario the opportunity to connect with kind and empathetic volunteers when they are looking to alleviate feelings of loneliness and social isolation (or if they are just looking for someone new to talk to!)

Achilles International Canada (AIC) provides opportunities for people with disabilities to achieve their own personal athletic goals. Currently our programs include running, walking and wheelchair rolling. We encourage all levels and abilities: people who have never run in their lives to those training for marathons.
Across Languages Translation and Interpretation Service (AL) is a non-profit agency that provides professional interpretation and translation, interpreter training, and language proficiency testing services across Ontario. We are experts in the delivery of spoken language services for more than a 100 languages and dialects. Our service delivery is 24/7 and our clients include businesses in medical, legal, settlement and immigration, and social services. We currently work with more than 265 service providers, including government and social services, Boards of Education, hospitals and community health care centres, as well as legal services. Across Languages interpreters and translators are accredited and have completed extensive language proficiency training and testing. They are fully insured under AL’s Errors and Omissions Insurance and have sworn confidentiality agreements.

The Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex (ASLM) offers a wide range of programs and services designed for individuals with dementia and/or memory concerns, their family, caregivers, and health professionals, as well as the general public.
At ASLM, both the individual and the family are provided with support upon diagnosis and throughout the continuum of the disease.
We employ a team of highly skilled professionals, including registered social workers, to ensure our programs and services meet and exceed the needs of our clients. Our team of over 240 volunteers help to run our education and support programs and services.
The Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners is the local community agency dedicated to supporting individuals living with dementia and their care partners. We are part of a network of Alzheimer Societies operating across Ontario offering a variety of services in our region.
