We are a registered non-profit incorporated under the Independent Living Philosophy. The Independent Living Philosophy works to unite persons with disabilities with the resources they need to meet their needs on their own terms. Doing so promotes agency, or the ability to make plans and carry them out. It also promotes efficacy, which is the view of one self as a person who can follow through on their plans. Both traits are critical to the psychological well-being of the individual. Independent Living Centers are based around core services that are selected to meet the needs of the community. Independent Living, London and Area is based around the Peer Support Program and Direct Funding. Peer Support offers a variety of engaging activities and events that are designed to reduce barriers to participation for the participants. Direct Funding is a provincially mandated program that allows a person with a disability to act as the direct employer of their caregiver. Founded in 2004, Jake’s House is a Provincially and Federally funded Canadian charity with a mission to provide meaningful support to families living with autism across the country. Recognizing that more than any other single issue, families dealing with autism need a community, Jake’s House is committed to growing a strong network of people who understand and care–a family that is determined to provide tangible solutions. Jake’s House supports individuals on the spectrum throughout their lifespans through four core initiatives: 1) Jake’s House Annual Holiday Parties, an 18-year tradition of bringing families together for a welcoming, fun and festive celebration; 2) Legends Mentoring Program, themed group mentoring workshops that provide youth with opportunities to learn skills, socialize and make friends; 3) Jake’s House Employment Mentoring, a program that supports the integration of young adults into the workforce; and 4) inclusive housing solutions, designed to address the growing housing gap in the autism community, giving more aging adults a place to call home. We help individuals with intellectual disabilities discover their gifts and abilities, and support them to achieve their goals for a meaningful life. L’Arche London is a community within the London community working with others to build a world where everyone belongs.

The Learning Disabilities Association – London Region is a charitable, not-for-profit agency that serves the City of London as well as Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford counties. Through program offerings, individual coaching, advocacy and community resources, the LDA – London Region provides the ongoing strategies and accommodations people with Learning Disabilities need to succeed.

The London Cross Cultural Learner Centre (CCLC) is a community organization that exists to provide services and support to newcomers and to promote intercultural awareness and understanding. Our vision is to build a more welcoming and just community where newcomers can succeed. Since 1968, our agency is the longest-serving London organization supporting cultural exchange, community education, and newcomer settlement services and support. Settlement support for government-assisted refugees includes accommodation and reception in Jeremiah's House Reception Centre and Joseph’s House; settlement supports for GARS, permanent residents, and all other eligible newcomers include orientation services, paraprofessional counseling, language assessment, and referral, community networking connections, and activities, information and referral, document translation, interpretation and language support, intercultural services and resources, job search and employment supports.

The London Food Coalition is a grassroots network of community organizations working together to transform how food is shared, valued, and experienced. We collect high-quality, surplus food from farms, suppliers, and retailers across London. Then, we redistribute that food to frontline organizations such as shelters, meal programs, community centres, and Indigenous organizations. Our work ensures that good food reaches those who need it most, while also reducing food waste and strengthening local networks.

The London Multiple Births Association is a non-profit, volunteer organization. Started in 1977, our organization aims to enrich the lives of families with multiples during pregnancy, infancy, and childhood. The LMBA is a community of families sharing the same multiple parent experience: join us for friendship, sharing, and moral support. The London Multiple Births Association is an affiliate chapter of Multiple Births Canada (MBC), an organization that exists to improve the quality of life for multiple birth individuals and their families in Canada.

Our vision is a world where mental health is funded, supported and destigmatized for the general public. To do that, we provide a three prong structure that consists of Education + Awareness + Entertainment.

We are a non-profit, volunteer driven Christian organization. We take donated goods and turn them into cash. We take those net-profits and send them to our joint ministry partner Bible League Canada to help fund programs in over 40 countries worldwide.
