Volunteer Opportunity: Golf Program - Team ManagerTime Commitment: 2 hours/week Mondays - 6:00-8:00 pm Jun 1-Aug 24@ Parkside 9 Fanshawe Golf Course - 2314 Fanshawe Park Road East EThe role: The Team Manager will help support the Head Coach by taking weekly attendance, collecting funds from athletes, organizing a local tournament if applicable, communicating with athletes if practice is cancelled and other general administrative duties. A knowledge of golf is not required as this role is administrative and requires organization and attention to detail. You are required to be onsite on Monday evenings to take attendance, other communication may occur via email. We support 18 different sports with over 400 athletes.Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Coaches for Track and FieldTime Commitment: 2 1/2hours/week Mondays - 6:00-8:30 pm April 20- June 8, 2026Location: Clarke Road Secondary School, 300 Clarke RoadThe role: All track and field practices begin with warm-up and stretching exercises, volunteers are expected to demonstrate and provide support to athletes at this time. Athletes are split up into four colour groups, each of which has a volunteer leader. Groups are: Running, Long Jump, Mini Javelin, and Shot Put. Experience with the event is an asset but not a requirement. It is best to have at least 2 volunteers at each event, one to coach technique and keep order in ensuring full participation, and another to keep a record of the athletes’ scores and maintaining a clear field/pit.
