Many volunteer opportunities are part of one day or multi-day events. In this section of Volunteer London, we wanted to highlight some of the upcoming community events happening nearby. This list of London events is user maintained, and therefore, we depend on our site visitors to populate it with events happening in and around London, Ontario.

Events need not be limited to elaborate annual banquets or black tie affairs. We want to give nonprofit organizations a chance to highlight their basic (everyday) type events like general meetings, information sessions, volunteer training, fundraising booths, and so on.

If you would like to see your own event listed here at Volunteer London, then click the “Add Event” button and complete the form. Your event will be listed after a site admin has a chance to review and approve (less than 24 hours). Once your event is approved, then the event will be available for all site visitors to see. It’s a great way to supplement your efforts on other social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
