The London Food Coalition is a grassroots network of community organizations working together to transform how food is shared, valued, and experienced. We collect high-quality, surplus food from farms, suppliers, and retailers across London. Then, we redistribute that food to frontline organizations such as shelters, meal programs, community centres, and Indigenous organizations. Our work ensures that good food reaches those who need it most, while also reducing food waste and strengthening local networks.

MYSports London is a non-profit organization based in London, Ontario, dedicated to providing Muslim youth—and the broader community—with a supportive, Islamic environment to enjoy and compete in sports, particularly soccer. Programs and Structure MYSports London offers co-ed soccer programs for children aged 6 to 15. Games on Sundays: Held from 10 AM to 1 PM at Jesse Davidson Park (731 Viscount Rd) Weekly Practices: Conducted on Wednesdays at Kensal Park (150 Chelsea Ave), with sessions from 6–7 PM for ages U5–U8 and 7–8 PM for U10–U15. Younger children (ages 5–6) focus on skill development with a single weekly session, while older participants engage in both practices and games. All divisions are co-ed, and while the organization encourages players to build new friendships within their teams, they also accommodate requests for children to play on the same team as a friend when possible. Community and Values Rooted in Islamic principles, MYSports London emphasizes the concept of ummah—a sense of unity and togetherness—encouraging youth to view their teams as a family. For 40 years, Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario has been improving the health and wellbeing of children and their families through the creation of a home-away-from-home for families of sick children who are receiving specialized treatment at local hospitals. An essential part of the Pediatric Healthcare system - we care for the families of critically ill children so they stay close to their sick child. Established in 1985, the Chapter has experienced significant growth with the original 15-bedroom house expanding to 40 rooms in 2022, the introduction of a Family Room at London Children’s Hospital in 2012 and the opening of the first in Canada House-within-a-Hospital in Windsor Regional Hospital in 2016 allowing the organization to make a significant impact on Ontario families. The Young Politicians of Canada is a nan partisan youth group that aims to empower, educate and involve young people in all levels of government.
