Volunteer Board MemberThe contributions of Community Board Members are vital to the success of Kids Country Club. Community Board Members provide leadership, identify local community needs, and advocate for those needs. They also build partnerships in the community, raise funds, and speak on behalf of our services within the community.Through their assistance, Community Board Members assist Kids County Club to continue to be a dynamic and responsive communitybased organization assisting families of medically fragile/technologically dependent children to receive the services they need.If our mandate speaks to your talents and you are interested in getting involved, please share your CV with cover letter. LoveYourself Canada is a self-care, mental health and wellness non-profit that uses media and events to spread awareness about self-care. Volunteer Opportunity: 1:1 Community-Based MentorOrganization: Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and AreaLocation: London, Ontario and surrounding areaCommitment: 2–4 hours, twice per month | Minimum 12 monthsBig Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area is seeking caring, committed volunteers to become 1:1 Community-Based Mentors for children and youth ages 7–18. This is our traditional mentoring program, designed to match young people who have faced adversity with a positive adult role model who can provide encouragement, stability, and friendship.As a mentor, you’ll spend time building a meaningful relationship by sharing experiences, exploring the community, trying new activities, and simply having fun together. Trained volunteers take blood pressure readings at weekly clinics to assist seniors who wish to regularly monitor their BP. Blood pressure clinics are one hour per week at various locations throughout the city.

A morning or afternoon social group/event that promotes health and wellness, social interaction and often includes sharing a meal together. Volunteers help plan, grocery shop, cook, serve a meal, set up/clean up and encourage conversation. Not all locations require set up/clean up. 

Volunteers are matched one-on-one with clients for weekly visits, either through phone calls, virtually or in-person, to provide companionship and support. Calls are to be made weekly for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Volunteers provide a daily Monday to Friday telephone call to a client to check on their safety and well-being, putting their caregivers at ease. Calls are made from 8:30-9:30am or 5-7pm.

We are looking to make the Fundraising Representative role an ongoing volunteer position. If you are interested, you would attend our next four auctions and help out with one of the roles. London Results group is looking for team members to lead action on global justice issues during critical moments.
