Settlement support for government-assisted refugees includes accommodation and reception in Jeremiah’s House Reception Centre and Joseph’s House; settlement supports for GARS, permanent residents, and all other eligible newcomers include orientation services, paraprofessional counseling, language assessment, and referral, community networking connections, and activities, information and referral, document translation, interpretation and language support, intercultural services and resources, job search and employment supports.
