The London Cross Cultural Learner Centre (CCLC) is a community organization that exists to provide services and support to newcomers and to promote intercultural awareness and understanding. Our vision is to build a more welcoming and just community where newcomers can succeed. Since 1968, our agency is the longest-serving London organization supporting cultural exchange, community education, and newcomer settlement services and support. Settlement support for government-assisted refugees includes accommodation and reception in Jeremiah’s House Reception Centre and Joseph’s House; settlement supports for GARS, permanent residents, and all other eligible newcomers include orientation services, paraprofessional counseling, language assessment, and referral, community networking connections, and activities, information and referral, document translation, interpretation and language support, intercultural services and resources, job search and employment supports.
