Look Good Feel Better is a non-profit which supports those facing cancer with the appearance-related impact of cancer and its treatment. We host in-person workshops, teaching about skincare, sun care, cosmetics and hair loss. We are seeking individuals with skincare and/or cosmetics training to join a team in delivering a monthly workshop to women facing cancer.

Our vision is that sport will open hearts and minds towards people with intellectual disabilities and create inclusive communities. Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Coach – Floor Hockey C Team Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/week October 20, 2025- April 13, 2026 Monday evenings, 630-730 pm at Clarke Road Secondary School The role: The Floor Hockey C team/program is going to be a mid-low level competitive Floorball program. The sport is new to the community and Canada. It’s the next evolution of hockey based sport for special Olympics. Assistant Coaches will be involved with team building and will be required to lead drills when tasked by the head coach. Hockey/floorball experience is NOT required, but a willingness to participate is highly recommended and encouraged. Results Canada is now accepting applications for its Education and Advocacy Fellowship Program, a 5-month hands-on opportunity to build your leadership, communication, and advocacy skills while generating the political will to end extreme poverty. Open to individuals aged 18 and above across Canada, Fellows engage virtually with peers to deepen their understanding of global health and poverty in low- and middle-income countries, write letters to the editor, raise awareness on social media, and engage with federal decision-makers. Backed by the in-depth research and legislative expertise of Results Canada staff and partners, Results Fellows will realize the incredible power they possess to use their voices. Volunteer Opportunities Special Olympics Ontario/London is dedicated to enriching the lives of Londoners with an intellectual disability through sport. We support 18 different sports with over 400 athletes. Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Coaches for Active Start - Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/week - Wednesdays - 6:00-6:40 pm ASAP to April 29/26 - Location: Hillcrest Public School, 1231 Fuller St. The role: This program is about physical literacy, learning about taking turns, listening to their coaches and playing as a team. As an assistant coach, you come in and help the athletes through the warm ups, different games, skills, drills, etc I have planned for them. The younger group focuses on basic movement skills, throwing, catching, kicking etc, while the older program begins to work on different sports after getting familiar with the program and equipment. Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Coaches for Powerlifting Time Commitment: 2 hours/week Sunday’s 8:30-10:00 am Sep 7/25-Jun 28/26 Location: West London Crossfit, 689 Oxford St. W. The role: Our focus is getting our lifters working on the two basic lifts bench press and dead lift. We will be looking at adding the squat lift for those athletes wishing to train in that lift. The squat lift requires more supervision for safety purposes.
