Special Olympics Ontario/London is dedicated to enriching the lives of Londoners with an intellectual disability through sport. We support 18 different sports with over 400 athletes. Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Coaches for Alpine Skiing Time Commitment: 2 hours/week  Mondays – 6:30 – 8:45 pm Jan 6/25- Feb 24/25 Location: Boler Mountain The role: Our program is not a learn to ski program. Athletes must be independent skiers with an interest in racing. Coaches do not necessarily need to have a racing background just be competent skiers themselves. Coaches are expected to be able follow instructions given by the head coach to teach athletes certain skiing techniques on areas they need to work on.
