BGC London (Food Service Assistant (Supper Club))

Description: Aquatic Assistants support BGC London lifeguards and swim instructors in delivering safe and engaging aquatic programs. Volunteers help with swim tests, lessons, and equipment setup, while promoting a positive and respectful environment for children, youth, and seniors.   Location & Schedule: Location: BGC London, 184 Horton Street Dates: Sept 2025 – May 2026 Days: Schedule varies (weeknights and weekends) Commitment: 3–6 hours/week Duties: Assist lifeguards and instructors during swim lessons and swim tests. Support a safe and enjoyable pool environment for children and youth. Enforce pool rules and maintain positive public relations. Prepare equipment for senior aquatic programs (e.g., Aqua-fit, Gentle-fit). Help with basic poolside setup and cleanup. Education/Skills: Valid Bronze Medallion or currently registered in BGC Bronze training. Comfortable in the water with intermediate swimming ability. Friendly, observant, and able to follow safety protocols. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
