Volunteer Opportunity: Chippers Golf Program – Assistant Coaches Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/week Mondays – 6:00-7:00 pm Jun 17-Aug 26 @ Parkside 9 Fanshawe Golf Course – 2314 Fanshawe Park Road East E The role: Assistant coaches would guide athletes through various activities throughout practice. Their roles involve attending all practice sessions, assisting the head coach with practice ideas, and mostly involving themselves in practice by guiding athletes toward the given objective. A general knowledge of golf and what clubs to use and how to swing/putt. The athletes spend time on the driving range, the putting green and sometimes the chipping range.
