Volunteer Tutor Opportunity: Inspire Young Minds with BGC London’s Junior M.A.P. Program Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Do you want to share your knowledge and skills to help young learners thrive in school and in the future? Join us at BGC London as a Volunteer Tutor for our Junior M.A.P. (My Action Plan to Education) Program! About the Junior M.A.P. Program: Our Junior M.A.P. Program supports children in grades 4-8 by providing them with personalized tutoring and mentorship to help them excel academically and personally. We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to guide and inspire our students in various subjects and skills. Position Details: Location: BGC London Main Club and partner schools Schedule: Mondays: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Main Club) Tuesdays: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM (Ealing Public School) Wednesdays: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM (Holy Rosary Catholic School) Thursdays: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM (Sir John A. MacDonald Public School) Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in various subjects Support students with homework, projects, and study skills Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment Collaborate with program coordinator, staff and other volunteers Mentor and motivate students to reach their full potential Qualifications: Passion for education and helping young people succeed Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable and committed to volunteering from October-June, excluding school holidays Prior tutoring or mentoring experience is a plus, but not required Background check required Why Volunteer with Us?
