EVERYONE LOVES HALLOWEEN. JUST ADD RUNNING AND YOU HAVE THE HALLOWEEN HAUNTING. FAMILY FUN ALL AROUND, WITH A DISTANCE OPTION FOR EVERYONE. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO DRESS UP IN YOUR BEST COSTUME, COME OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE BEST COSTUMES ALL COURSES ARE CONTAINED WITHIN SPRINGBANK PARK AND ARE ON THE PAVED PATHWAY SYSTEM ALONG THE RIVER. THE COURSES ARE WELL MARKED AND MARSHALLED AND SAFE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. COME JOIN US FOR A SPOOKTACULAR DAY OF FUN.We are looking for volunteers to help with water stops, course Marshalls, bag check and check in. Requirements are Sunday morning from 9:00am until 11:30 am. Our run is located in Springbank Park just west of Storybook Gardens at the Flint Shelter.

We support 18 different sports with over 400 athletes.Volunteer Opportunities: Team Manager and Assistant Coaches for Youth 5 Pin BowlingTime Commitment: 2 hours/week Wednesdays - 6:00-8:00 pm - ASAP to April 21 2027Location: Fleetway 40, 720 Proudfoot LaneFleetwayAssistant Coach role: This is a recreational group for athletes up to age 21 of all abilities. Our Assistant Coaches collect money and write receipts each week. They are there to encourage and cheering the Bowlers. In this program basic bowling skills are taught, building community with/ for athletes.Team Manager role: The Team Manager will help support the Head Coach by taking weekly attendance, collecting funds from athletes, organizing a local tournament if applicable, communicating with athletes if practice is cancelled and other general administrative duties.For more information contact our Volunteer Coordinator atlondon.volunteerco@specialolympicsontario.ca

We support 18 different sports with over 400 athletes.Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Coaches for Alpine SkiingTime Commitment: 2-3 hours/week Mondays - 6:15 - 9:00 pm Jan 4/27- Feb 22/27Location: Boler MountainThe role: Our program is not a learn to ski program. Athletes must be independent skiers with an interest in racing. Coaches do not necessarily need to have a racing background just be competent skiers themselves. Coaches are expected to be able follow instructions given by the head coach to teach athletes certain skiing techniques on areas they need to work on. At times as a coach becomes more comfortable, they may be asked to take more than one athlete on the hill at a time. Project IMPACK will be back at the Christmas Market in Wortley Village on December 4 & 5, 2026 running the Dog Haus Christmas Booth! Note - this is an outdoor market, you will be inside a wooden booth.❤️ 100% of funds raised will support the Humane Society London & Middlesex.We’re looking for volunteers to help us make the booth a success!📅 Friday, December 4⏰ 4 PM–8 PMShift 1 - 4pm-6pm (need 2 volunteers)Shift 2 - 6pm-8pm (need 2 volunteers)📅 Saturday, December 5⏰ 12 PM–5 PMShift 1 - 12pm-2:30pm (need 2 volunteers)Shift 2 - 2:30pm-5pm (need 2 volunteers)Volunteers will help welcome visitors, assist at the booth, help with fundraising activities and keep things organized throughout the event.🎄 Whether you can help for a full shift or a whole day, we’d love to have you!High school students looking for community involvement hours are welcome, and Project IMPACK can verify hours completed.Come help us spread some Christmas cheer while supporting a great local cause! ❤️🐾

Our vision is that sport will open hearts and minds towards people with intellectual disabilities and create inclusive communities.Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Coach – Floor Hockey C TeamTime Commitment: 1-2 hours/week October 19, 2026- June 19, 2027Monday evenings, 6:00-7:30 pm at Clarke Road Secondary School , 300 Clarke RoadThe role: The Floor Hockey C team/program is a mid-low level competitive Floorball program. Assistant Coaches will be involved with team building and will be required to lead drills when tasked by the head coach. Hockey/floorball experience is NOT required, but a willingness to participate is highly recommended and encouraged. The Nostalgic Theatre (TNT), is a group of amateur performers who perform one hour variety shows to organizations such as retirement homes, service clubs, churches, nursing homes, special events and private functions.TNT is a nonprofit Seniors 55+.Presently, performs twice a year; a Christmas program ( performed end of November, beginning of December) and a Spring program (performed end of May beginning of June.)Rehearsals are held Wednesday afternoon from 12 to 4pm, in London, from September until the last performance in June.TNT is looking for enthusiastic seniors who can join our group in various capacities. Actors, singers , dancers, stagehands, choreographers, assistant directors, marketing, etc.

A morning or afternoon social group/event that promotes health and wellness, social interaction and often includes sharing a meal together. Volunteers help plan, grocery shop, cook, serve a meal, set up/clean up and encourage conversation. Not all locations require set up/clean up. For this role, we are looking for volunteers who have experience working in a kitchen and who have their Safe Food Handler's Certificate, or the equivalent in experience.
