YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO DRESS UP IN YOUR BEST COSTUME, COME OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE BEST COSTUMES ALL COURSES ARE CONTAINED WITHIN SPRINGBANK PARK AND ARE ON THE PAVED PATHWAY SYSTEM ALONG THE RIVER. THE COURSES ARE WELL MARKED AND MARSHALLED AND SAFE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. COME JOIN US FOR A SPOOKTACULAR DAY OF FUN.We are looking for volunteers to help with water stops, course Marshalls, bag check and check in. Requirements are Sunday morning from 9:00am until 11:30 am. Our run is located in Springbank Park just west of Storybook Gardens at the Flint Shelter.

Look Good Feel Better is a non-profit which supports those facing cancer with the appearance-related impact of cancer and its treatment. We host in-person workshops, teaching about skincare, sun care, cosmetics and hair loss. We are seeking individuals with skincare and/or cosmetics training to join a team in delivering a monthly workshop to women facing cancer. This role requires a 3-hour time commitment, on the 1st Thursday of every month, from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

Open Minds Wellness Expo - Centennial Hall November 8th 2026Actors will do the following tasks: Wear blow up costume for two hours holding a sign and stay on your spot, half way through switch with your partner and stand with them out of costume as their guide and self-taker. Pilates for a Cause is a community fundraising event taking place at a local Pilates studio in London, Ontario, on December 5, 2026.The fundraiser is being organized to support a family in Colombia who lost their home following a devastating earthquake in August 2026.We’ve been fortunate to receive support from Canadian brands and local businesses contributing products and prizes to help make this event special.The Volunteer OpportunityWe’re looking for 1–2 creative and enthusiastic volunteers who would love to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, event photography, videography, and content creation while supporting a meaningful cause.This is a great opportunity for students or aspiring creatives interested in building their portfolios, gaining experience creating promotional campaigns, working with real events and brands, and producing content in the fitness and wellness space.What You’ll Help WithDepending on your interests, skills, and availability, responsibilities may include:Pre-Event Promotion & Content CreationHelping create engaging promotional content to build awareness and excitement leading up to the fundraiser.Designing Instagram posts, Stories, and other promotional materials.Creating short-form promotional videos or Reels to encourage participation and donations.Helping showcase participating Canadian and local brand sponsors through social media content.Bringing creative ideas to help promote the event and reach a wider audience.Event-Day Photography & VideographyCapturing candid photos and videos throughout the fundraiser.Photographing the Pilates class, participants, studio atmosphere, and fundraising activities.Creating engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social media platforms.Capturing behind-the-scenes moments, sponsor products, goodie bags, and raffle prizes.Helping document the overall experience and community involvement.Post-Event ContentHelping create a short event recap or highlight video.Providing a selection of edited photos or videos from the fundraiser.Creating content to recognize and thank our participating sponsors and supporters.Volunteers can focus on social media, photography, videography, or a combination of these areas depending on their skills and interests. Responsibilities will be discussed and agreed upon beforehand.Who We’re Looking ForWe would love to connect with students from Fanshawe College or Western University studying photography, digital marketing, media production, communications, graphic design, or a related field.You may be a great fit if you:Enjoy photography, videography, graphic design, or creating social media content.Have an interest in fitness, Pilates, wellness, or lifestyle content.Are creative, reliable, enthusiastic, and enjoy bringing ideas to life.Are familiar with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Canva, or video-editing applications.Have access to your own camera or smartphone for capturing content.Would like to gain real-world experience in event promotion, social media marketing, and content creation.Are passionate about supporting a meaningful community initiative.Professional experience is not required! Volunteers will not be required to attend the entire day, and we’re happy to discuss availability.Post-Event: FlexibleSome additional time for photo or video editing and creating a recap of the fundraiser would be appreciated. 🎃 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🎃Halloween in the Village, in Wortley Village is coming up on Saturday, October 24, and Project IMPACK, is hosting a FREE Community Pumpkin Carving Event at 171 Wortley Rd, London.We’ll have approximately 50 pumpkins for families to carve, and we need volunteers to help make the event happen!🎃 10 AM–1 PM | Pumpkin Prep & Set-UpHelp scoop and empty pumpkins and get the carving stations ready.🎃 1 PM–4 PM | Event & Clean-UpHelp register participants, keep carving stations tidy, assist families, move completed pumpkins to The Green for judging, and help with clean-up.The public carving event runs 1–3 PM, or until we run out of pumpkins!Whether you can help for the full shift or just part of it, we’d love to have you.📩 Interested?
