Opportunity Description:

We are currently seeking executive members to lead our team. We have various portfolios that we are seeking executives for, as follows: Events (Multiple): Plan and organize monthly events/workshops, coordinate logistics, and work with the Sponsorship and Outreach team to deliver valuable events to members of the community. Sponsorship and Outreach (Multiple) Build and maintain relationships with local schools, community organizations, and businesses to increase awareness and participation in the club. Develop partnerships with local leaders, mentors, speakers and professionals to provide opportunities for club members. Communications and Design (Multiple) Manage the club’s social media platforms, regularly posting content that showcases the club’s activities, leadership stories, and events to engage current and potential members. Secretary (1-2) Record and distribute detailed minutes for all leadership meetings and workshops, ensuring that decisions, action items, and next steps are clearly documented and shared with the team. Maintain an updated member roster and track attendance at all meetings, events, and workshops. Joining our team as an executive member would allow you to be a part of Girl Up London and take on responsibilities at the leadership level. We would love for you to support our mission in furthering the gender equality movement. Our chapter organizes fundraisers, hosts events in the community, and has mentorship opportunities to support leadership development, focusing on equity for girls and women in spaces where they are unheard or underrepresented. Girl Up London is always looking for submissions by great community leaders such as yourselves. These positions would be a great opportunity for keen high school students (volunteer hours can be provided), college/university students, recent graduates, and professionals!
