Special Olympics Ontario - London
Special Olympics Ontario/London is dedicated to enriching the lives of Londoners with an intellectual disability through sport. We support 18 different sports with over 400 athletes. Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Coaches (4 needed) – Pickleball Time Commitment: Eagle Heights Public School Wednesday 6:15-8:15 Jan 7/26 - May 27/26 The role: Pickleball is a new sport for the London area athletes and so the coaches will be teaching and assisting the athletes with the rules and basics of the game. Pickleball knowledge would be helpful. Assistant coaches also assist in team building and working with the athletes to have fun. London Health Sciences Centre
Music Volunteer – Victoria Hospital Do you love music and enjoy connecting with others? We’re looking for a volunteer to bring comfort and joy to patients through live music. Our patients especially enjoy familiar tunes—Oldies, Gospel, or Hymns—performed either vocally or on instruments such as guitar, ukulele, violin, or using our on-site compact keyboard. Look Good Feel Better is a non-profit which supports those facing cancer with the appearance-related impact of cancer and its treatment. We host in-person workshops, teaching about skincare, sun care, cosmetics and hair loss. We are seeking individuals with skincare and/or cosmetics training to join a team in delivering a monthly workshop to women facing cancer.

Results Canada is now accepting applications for its Education and Advocacy Fellowship Program, a 5-month hands-on opportunity to build your leadership, communication, and advocacy skills while generating the political will to end extreme poverty. Open to individuals aged 18 and above across Canada, Fellows engage virtually with peers to deepen their understanding of global health and poverty in low- and middle-income countries, write letters to the editor, raise awareness on social media, and engage with federal decision-makers.
