MYSports London is a non-profit organization based in London, Ontario, dedicated to providing Muslim youth—and the broader community—with a supportive, Islamic environment to enjoy and compete in sports, particularly soccer. Their mission is to foster both athletic development and spiritual growth by promoting teamwork, inclusivity, and community unity. Programs and Structure MYSports London offers co-ed soccer programs for children aged 6 to 15. Games on Sundays: Held from 10 AM to 1 PM at Jesse Davidson Park (731 Viscount Rd) Weekly Practices: Conducted on Wednesdays at Kensal Park (150 Chelsea Ave), with sessions from 6–7 PM for ages U5–U8 and 7–8 PM for U10–U15. Younger children (ages 5–6) focus on skill development with a single weekly session, while older participants engage in both practices and games. All divisions are co-ed, and while the organization encourages players to build new friendships within their teams, they also accommodate requests for children to play on the same team as a friend when possible. Community and Values Rooted in Islamic principles, MYSports London emphasizes the concept of ummah—a sense of unity and togetherness—encouraging youth to view their teams as a family. This approach not only enhances the sporting experience but also strengthens community bonds and personal development. Get Involved Whether you're a parent seeking a positive and faith-aligned sports environment for your child or a community member interested in volunteering, MYSports London offers opportunities to engage in meaningful ways. Museum London is Southwestern Ontario's leading establishment for the collection and presentation of visual art and material culture. Through public and educational programming, special events and exhibitions, Museum London strives to promote the knowledge and enjoyment of regional art, culture and history. At the heart of a great museum is its collection and Museum London is proud to have one of Canada's most important art collections, and one of the most significant historical artifact collections in Ontario. Our art collection has more than 5,000 regional and Canadian works and our 45,000 artifacts reflect the history of the City of London as an important regional urban centre in Southwestern Ontario. Museum London was established in 1940, operating from the London Public Library until 1980 when architect Raymond Moriyama was commissioned to design its current home at the forks of the Thames River in downtown London, Ontario. In 1989, the then London Regional Art Gallery amalgamated with the London Historical Museum, creating what is known today as Museum London. In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation we would like to acknowledge that Museum London operates within the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Attawandaron (Neutral), and Wendat peoples. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties. This territory is the homeland of the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Oneida Nation of the Thames, and Munsee Delaware Nation. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
