The outdated version is available to browse.* St. John's is an arts-loving, progressively-minded religious community with deep roots in London.  We run a thriving social outreach program and are guided by principles of inclusiveness and compassion.  To help with our growing Sunday School, we are seeking volunteers to care for our preschool children during the 10:30am Sunday services.  Volunteers would supervise a small group of children and engage them in imaginative play and simple songs, some of which would be related to Bible stories. This would be ideal opportunity for teenagers looking to fulfil their volunteer hours, or anyone who has experience with children and would like to be of service within a heart-centred, traditional community. Personal affiliation with Christianity is not necessary, only shared values.

St. Joseph’s Health Care London is one of Ontario’s leading teaching hospitals, contributing to the advancement of health care, education and research. Student Seasonal Service is an organization formed by three Western University students who shares a common interest in business. We specialize in a variety of seasonal yard services such as lawn mowing and leaf raking. Currently, we are offering summer and fall services and free estimates for those who are interested.

Sunfest is Canada’s Premier celebration of World Music & Culture which is held each July in beautiful Victoria Park, London, Ontario. This FREE ADMISSION festival is July 7-10, 2022. The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) is part of an international network involving thousands of trained personnel worldwide, including many volunteers. Salvation Army EDS personnel respond to incidents of various sizes and scopes. In following with its holistic ministry, The Salvation Army provides supports that meet the immediate, as well as long-term, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of disaster survivors and responders.

The Shoebox Project for Women collects & distributes gift-filled Shoeboxes to women who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness in Canada, US and UK. For women who have been displaced from their homes and estranged from their families, special occasions can be particularly challenging. Often, women report feeling disconnected from society, invisible and alone. A Shoebox gift is a powerful reminder for a woman that she has not been forgotten and that she remains a valued and respected member of her community. For those giving gifts, The Shoebox Project is a tangible and creative opportunity to give back directly to someone in your very own community. It’s a small, simple gesture of kindness that has an immediate, positive impact on the woman who receives it.

VON (Victorian Order of Nurses) Middlesex-Elgin has been a part of Canada's largest national not for profit home and community care organization for over 125 years.  In the city of London we offer a variety of programs and services to help seniors (aged 55 and up) and disabled persons live independent, safe and healthy lives independently.  We have preventative programs, healthy eating, free blood pressure checks, reassurance and more.
