Assistant Coaches - Chipper Golf Program

Volunteer Opportunity: Chippers Golf Program - Assistant Coaches Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/week Mondays - 6:00-7:00 pm Jun 17-Aug 26 @ Parkside 9 Fanshawe Golf Course - 2314 Fanshawe Park Road East E The role: Assistant coaches would guide athletes through various activities throughout practice. Their roles involve attending all practice sessions, assisting the head coach with practice ideas, and mostly involving themselves in practice by guiding athletes toward the given objective. A general knowledge of golf and what clubs to use and how to swing/putt. The athletes spend time on the driving range, the putting green and sometimes the chipping range. Breakthrough T1D Walk London - Day of Event Volunteer

Description: We have an urgent need for volunteers on Sunday June 1st to support the Breakthrough T1D Walk in London. The event is happening at Greenway Park, 50 Greenside Ave, London, Ontario on Sunday June 1st. We need volunteers from 7:30am to 1:30pm (approx). We have roles in food service, kid's zone, registration and more!! High school hours will be provided and lunch will be served.
2025 5K Foam Fest Volunteer in support of Make-A-Wish Canada

Description: Shifts Available 1. Morning Gear Check Shift in support of Make-A-Wish Canada: 7:00am - 12:30pm - 5k Foam Fest participants can check their bag for a minimum donation of $5. Your responsibility will be to assist with processing donations in support of Make-A-Wish Canada, assist participants with tagging and storing their bag. Please note you may be moved to a festival shift based on the needs of the event.(option to run the course for free on event day after your shift) 2. Afternoon Gear Check Shift in support of Make-A-Wish Canada: 12:00pm - 4:00pm - 5k Foam Fest participants can check their bag for a minimum donation of $5. Summer Night 5k Run. July 18

Description: We are looking for volunteers to help us out with our 5k run on July 18th. We need course Marshalls, water stop volunteers and finish line helpers. Hours are Friday July 18th from 6:00-8:30 approx. Snacks and drinks will be provided. All funds raised at the event will support Bereaved Families SWO. Our run starts and finishes at Delilah's (209 John St, London) Volunteers will report to the start line for instructions prior to race start.
Roots of Empathy Instructor

Description: Roots of Empathy is a non profit organization that provides a school based program. The program works with families with a new baby from the community to help teach emotional literacy. The program reduces bullying and aggression and builds pro social behaviors. The program provides 27 lessons through the school year. There is a three day training August 27-29 in London.

Springbank Road Races half Marathon

Description: We are looking for volunteers to help us on race day. Our event takes place in Springbank park and consists of a half marathon, 5k, 2k and kids race. We are looking for enthusiastic helpers to assist with race day activities, from water stops to course Marshalls and help in the post race area. Volunteer hours would be from approximately 8am - noon on race day.
