EVERYONE LOVES HALLOWEEN. JUST ADD RUNNING AND YOU HAVE THE HALLOWEEN HAUNTING. FAMILY FUN ALL AROUND, WITH A DISTANCE OPTION FOR EVERYONE. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO DRESS UP IN YOUR BEST COSTUME, COME OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE BEST COSTUMES ALL COURSES ARE CONTAINED WITHIN SPRINGBANK PARK AND ARE ON THE PAVED PATHWAY SYSTEM ALONG THE RIVER. THE COURSES ARE WELL MARKED AND MARSHALLED AND SAFE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. COME JOIN US FOR A SPOOKTACULAR DAY OF FUN.We are looking for volunteers to help with water stops, course Marshalls, bag check and check in. Requirements are Sunday morning from 9:00am until 11:30 am. Our run is located in Springbank Park just west of Storybook Gardens at the Flint Shelter.

Pilates for a Cause is a community fundraising event taking place at a local Pilates studio in London, Ontario, on December 5, 2026.The fundraiser is being organized to support a family in Colombia who lost their home following a devastating earthquake in August 2026.We’ve been fortunate to receive support from Canadian brands and local businesses contributing products and prizes to help make this event special.The Volunteer OpportunityWe’re looking for 1–2 creative and enthusiastic volunteers who would love to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, event photography, videography, and content creation while supporting a meaningful cause.This is a great opportunity for students or aspiring creatives interested in building their portfolios, gaining experience creating promotional campaigns, working with real events and brands, and producing content in the fitness and wellness space.What You’ll Help WithDepending on your interests, skills, and availability, responsibilities may include:Pre-Event Promotion & Content CreationHelping create engaging promotional content to build awareness and excitement leading up to the fundraiser.Designing Instagram posts, Stories, and other promotional materials.Creating short-form promotional videos or Reels to encourage participation and donations.Helping showcase participating Canadian and local brand sponsors through social media content.Bringing creative ideas to help promote the event and reach a wider audience.Event-Day Photography & VideographyCapturing candid photos and videos throughout the fundraiser.Photographing the Pilates class, participants, studio atmosphere, and fundraising activities.Creating engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social media platforms.Capturing behind-the-scenes moments, sponsor products, goodie bags, and raffle prizes.Helping document the overall experience and community involvement.Post-Event ContentHelping create a short event recap or highlight video.Providing a selection of edited photos or videos from the fundraiser.Creating content to recognize and thank our participating sponsors and supporters.Volunteers can focus on social media, photography, videography, or a combination of these areas depending on their skills and interests. Calls are made Monday to Friday during set times—either 8:30–9:30 a.m. or 5–7 p.m. This dependable daily connection helps clients feel supported, safe, and remembered.

Join our Friendly Visiting Program and connect one-on-one with an older adult through weekly phone calls or in-person visits. Just 15 minutes to 1 hour of your time per week can help reduce loneliness and create lasting connections. Visit times are scheduled flexibly between you and your matched client, making it easy to fit into your week while making a big impact!
