Autism Ontario (legally incorporated as Autism Society Ontario) is a charitable organization with a history of over 49 years representing the thousands of people on the autism spectrum and their families across Ontario. Made up of knowledgeable parents, professionals, and autistic self-advocates who can speak to the key issues that impact autistic individuals and their families, Autism Ontario is the province’s leading source of information and referral on autism, and one of the largest collective voices representing the autism community. There are seven regions across the province of Ontario. The work we do helps all autistic individuals and families in their communities have access to meaningful supports, information, and connections so they are equitably and seamlessly supported across their life course. Autism Ontario is guided by the board of directors, composed of parents, people on the spectrum, and respected professionals, who provide governance, expertise, and guidance to the organization on a volunteer basis. Autism Ontario aims to support and advocate alongside all autistic individuals across the province, regardless of race, ethnicity, income, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Now more than ever, we must be active and deliberate in listening to and including all autistic voices across the province. We will continue to expand our reach to neglected segments of our community. We will work to provide spaces of support and advocacy for our Black and Indigenous communities. And we will work together to dismantle the systems of oppression that prevent many autistic individuals from realizing their potential and living meaningful lives. FIXT POINT is a Toronto-based arts & media company with national reach. Our mandate is to inspire audiences and artists to imagine change, and our mission is to promote local culture and preserve local heritage through the telling of tales across multiple platforms. We endeavour to be leaders in public engagement, embedding training and outreach into our process of creation and dissemination. FIXT POINT was founded in 2006 and incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 2011. Breakthrough T1D Walk (formerly JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes) is a fun, engaging, and inspiring family-friendly event where participants, volunteers and sponsors come together to create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D). Join the Walk and help break barriers to ensure those living with T1D can enjoy full, healthy lives.

Cystic Fibrosis Canada is a national not-for-profit corporation and one of the world’s top three charitable organizations committed to improving and lengthening the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis (CF).

Look Good Feel Better supports those facing cancer with the appearance-related impact of cancer and its treatment. We hold monthly in-person workshops, teaching about skincare, sun care, cosmetics and hair loss. We are seeking volunteers with skincare and cosmetic training to join the London team and support the delivery of these sessions. Once a month commitment for 3 hours.

Breakthrough T1D Canada is a National non-profit dedicated to funding research to cure type 1 diabetes while improving daily life for those living with it. It also advocates for better access to care and bring the T1D community together through programs, events and support networks.

With more research, we know we can end breast cancer. Breast Cancer Canada is a national charity dedicated to saving lives through breast cancer research. With a focus on precision oncology (personalized care), it is the only national breast cancer organization in Canada that has a clear mandate to raise money for research and advocate and educate on the progress of new research evidence. Everyday, researchers are working hard to advance our understanding of this disease.  To detect it. To treat it. We know research will deliver results. Our mission is to inspire young people to pursue further studies and careers in the field of science, technology and engineering. Our vision is of a world which celebrates success in science, technology and engineering and in which young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes. We pursue our mission primarily through running robotics competitions for school-age students at the elementary, junior high school and senior high school level.
