Thames Region Ecological Association, a local environmental charity, is seeking volunteers to help with community programs this summer that support waste reduction and sustainable lifestyles. We are a community theatre that supports volunteer activities.  Our volunteers are ushers, actors, builders, painters and more.  Volunteers can help with short term projects such a festivals and special events.  Longer events such a being part of a play or helping backstage are also offered.  We like to train and mentor new volunteers to make this experience rewarding.

Victim Services provides victims of crime and/or traumatic circumstances with immediate support and referrals to available programs and services.

Sunfest is Canada’s Premier celebration of World Music & Culture which is held each July in beautiful Victoria Park, London, Ontario. This FREE ADMISSION festival is July 7-10, 2022. Every summer since 1995, Sunfest has brought together thousands of people of all ages and cultures for four days of exemplary music, dance, crafts and cuisine from around the globe. This unique, high profile event features over 30 top professional world music & dance, and jazz ensembles based in Canada and abroad. Over the years, Sunfest has showcased international headliners from nearly every region of our planet, including Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and First Nations territories.

"Saving Lives at Work, Home, and Play" St. John Ambulance is an organization that offers many community services. St. John Ambulance provides comprehensive first aid and CPR courses, community medical first response, youth programs, and therapy dog services. D0001L represents the London medical first responder division in the Southwestern Ontario branch. Our members are volunteer medical first responders who attend community events to provide first aid response in the community. Events include attending community walks, runs, festivals, and concerts. Becoming part of our team will be a good experience for those interested in entering professions in police, firefighting, and health care. This is also a good experience for those who are interested in knowing more about the London community and surrounding Southwestern Ontario area. Our events are as far reaching as Sarnia, Chatham, and Windsor.

The Lambeth Lions Club was formed in 1977 with Claire McLean as its first president and since the beginning we have and continue to have numerous projects that we support. We are honoured to work with Lions Homes for Deaf People to build homes across the Province of Ontario for people who are deaf, deaf/blind or deaf with multiple handicaps. We are very active in the Lambeth community by supporting various causes, Brownies, HarvestFest , local hospitals, foodbanks as well as the Royal Canadian Legion with our Poppy Program. Our Memory Box Program supports families who lose a child at the Children's' Hospital in London, because the hospital serves a large geographical part of the Province of Ontario our club has a strong provincial reach in our work. Beyond the province, we support international programs to eradicate hunger, diabetes, support families battling childhood cancer, vision and care for our environment. We also provide disaster relief, support international student exchange and help with other community, provincial & global needs.

Museum London is Southwestern Ontario's leading establishment for the collection and presentation of visual art and material culture. Through public and educational programming, special events and exhibitions, Museum London strives to promote the knowledge and enjoyment of regional art, culture and history. At the heart of a great museum is its collection and Museum London is proud to have one of Canada's most important art collections, and one of the most significant historical artifact collections in Ontario. Our art collection has more than 5,000 regional and Canadian works and our 45,000 artifacts reflect the history of the City of London as an important regional urban centre in Southwestern Ontario. Museum London was established in 1940, operating from the London Public Library until 1980 when architect Raymond Moriyama was commissioned to design its current home at the forks of the Thames River in downtown London, Ontario. In 1989, the then London Regional Art Gallery amalgamated with the London Historical Museum, creating what is known today as Museum London. In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation we would like to acknowledge that Museum London operates within the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Attawandaron (Neutral), and Wendat peoples. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties. This territory is the homeland of the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Oneida Nation of the Thames, and Munsee Delaware Nation. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.

The Learning Disabilities Association – London Region is a charitable, not-for-profit agency that serves the City of London as well as Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford counties. Through program offerings, individual coaching, advocacy and community resources, the LDA – London Region provides the ongoing strategies and accommodations people with Learning Disabilities need to succeed.

Our organization focuses on addressing a number of challenges faced by the immigrant community in London. Our primary goal is to help individuals become productive members in the London Community. We focus on four (4) key areas: - 1) youth development, - 2) integration of new immigrants - 3) mental health support, - 4) and cultural education. We help youth build connections to the community and become productive in life by providing mentorship and support on school work, and career planning. We support settlement of newcomers to the city and provide guidance for securing housing and jobs. Our organization believes that supporting individuals at the grassroots level is important for them to become productive members of the Community.

Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario is currently in search of volunteers to help run our annual Walk for Parkinson’s. This event is always a huge success with the help of so many of our amazing volunteers. This year we plan to host the walk in person following COVID-19 public health guidelines. In the event COVID-19 restrictions change the Walk for Parkinson’s will be held virtually. To assist with this event, we are recruiting volunteers for two positions: Community Champions As a community champion you will Invite people to be part of the event, Share the event within your community and networks and Mobilize others to the walk a success by sharing your plans, thinking up creative ideas on how to tell others about the event and encouraging people to communicate online. This is a minimal time commitment and can be done remotely. Day-of Volunteers As a day-of volunteer you will assist in a number of positions including set-up/take-down, parking crew, finish-line, greeter among others. Day-of volunteers help our walk run smoothly.
