Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Kiwanis helps kids around the world. Our Kiwanis club looks out for our community and the Kiwanis international organization takes on large-scale challenges, such as fighting disease and poverty. Our Kiwanis club is generous with its time. We are creative with our ideas.
For over 25 years, L’Arche London has brought to life the vision of people with and without intellectual disabilities sharing life in community with a wide circle of family, friends, and neighbours. We help individuals with intellectual disabilities discover their gifts and abilities, and support them to achieve their goals for a meaningful life. L’Arche London is a community within the London community working with others to build a world where everyone belongs.
The Lambeth Lions Club was formed in 1977 with Claire McLean as its first president and since the beginning we have and continue to have numerous projects that we support. We are honoured to work with Lions Homes for Deaf People to build homes across the Province of Ontario for people who are deaf, deaf/blind or deaf with multiple handicaps. We are very active in the Lambeth community by supporting various causes, Brownies, HarvestFest , local hospitals, foodbanks as well as the Royal Canadian Legion with our Poppy Program. Our Memory Box Program supports families who lose a child at the Children's' Hospital in London, because the hospital serves a large geographical part of the Province of Ontario our club has a strong provincial reach in our work. Beyond the province, we support international programs to eradicate hunger, diabetes, support families battling childhood cancer, vision and care for our environment. We also provide disaster relief, support international student exchange and help with other community, provincial & global needs.
The Learning Disabilities Association – London Region is a charitable, not-for-profit agency that serves the City of London as well as Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford counties. Through program offerings, individual coaching, advocacy and community resources, the LDA – London Region provides the ongoing strategies and accommodations people with Learning Disabilities need to succeed.
The Young Politicians of Canada is a nan partisan youth group that aims to empower, educate and involve young people in all levels of government. In January 2025, the organisation is opening a new municipal chapter in London to help the youth of the city to be more involved with their local politicians. We currently looking for new members to join our team. The London Cross Cultural Learner Centre (CCLC) is a community organization that exists to provide services and support to newcomers and to promote intercultural awareness and understanding. Our vision is to build a more welcoming and just community where newcomers can succeed. Since 1968, our agency is the longest-serving London organization supporting cultural exchange, community education, and newcomer settlement services and support. Settlement support for government-assisted refugees includes accommodation and reception in Jeremiah's House Reception Centre and Joseph’s House; settlement supports for GARS, permanent residents, and all other eligible newcomers include orientation services, paraprofessional counseling, language assessment, and referral, community networking connections, and activities, information and referral, document translation, interpretation and language support, intercultural services and resources, job search and employment supports.
The London Food Coalition is a grassroots network of community organizations working together to transform how food is shared, valued, and experienced. We collect high-quality, surplus food from farms, suppliers, and retailers across London. Then, we redistribute that food to frontline organizations such as shelters, meal programs, community centres, and Indigenous organizations. Our work ensures that good food reaches those who need it most, while also reducing food waste and strengthening local networks.
London Health Sciences Centre is one of Canada’s largest acute care teaching hospitals and the largest employer in the region with more than 13,000 staff and physicians.  As a regional referral centre, London Health Sciences Centre cares for the most medically complex patients including critically injured adults and children in southwestern Ontario and neighbouring regions. Through more than one million patient visits a year accessing a broad range of specialized clinical services. As a teaching hospital and a recognized leader in medical discovery and health research, London Health Sciences Centre has a history of more than 70 international and national firsts and attracts top clinicians and researchers from around the world through its commitment to research and innovation. The London Multiple Births Association is a non-profit, volunteer organization. Started in 1977, our organization aims to enrich the lives of families with multiples during pregnancy, infancy, and childhood. The LMBA is a community of families sharing the same multiple parent experience: join us for friendship, sharing, and moral support. The London Multiple Births Association is an affiliate chapter of Multiple Births Canada (MBC), an organization that exists to improve the quality of life for multiple birth individuals and their families in Canada.
