The Young Politicians of Canada is a nan partisan youth group that aims to empower, educate and involve young people in all levels of government. In January 2025, the organisation is opening a new municipal chapter in London to help the youth of the city to be more involved with their local politicians. You will work with other volunteers to lead actions in communities, engage decision makers, raise awareness on important issues, and execute creative tactics to win media attention. Breakthrough T1D Canada is a National non-profit dedicated to funding research to cure type 1 diabetes while improving daily life for those living with it. It also advocates for better access to care and bring the T1D community together through programs, events and support networks.

LEADS Employment Services is a not for profit employment and skills development agency. Since 1986, we have been providing specialized and customized services for people with disabilities and/or employment-related barriers throughout Southwestern Ontario. At LEADS, Employment Specialists work with clients who need varying levels of assistance developing skills and accessing employment opportunities, and/or post-employment supports. We also work with employers who have hiring needs, including screening, matching, and on-boarding, and who want to save money and resources in training and accommodation recommendations. To date, LEADS has placed over 30,000 candidates with more than 16,000 employers and has helped thousands more develop life management, employment, community access, and life skills. For the fiscal year 2023‐2024 LEADS served over 2600 individuals and secured 829 employment placements and 36 youth volunteer placements.

At Volunteer London, we take pride in linking people with local nonprofit community organizations, supporting persons with disabilities, new Canadians, corporations and professionals connect to organizations in and around the city, helping individuals develop skills to advance their careers, and developing knowledge resources that support effective and efficient volunteer capacity.

Robin Hood Army Canada (RHAC) aims to serve and empower communities-in-need, and help eradicate homelessness in Canada through empathy, teamwork and awareness. The primary role of a Robin (volunteer of RHAC) is to deliver food, clothing and hygiene items to shelters in Ajax and Oshawa, to facilitate basic life skills workshops and create awareness. Volunteers are required on ongoing basis with most drives being carried out on weekends, and can devote time as convenient to them Volunteer roles include - -Robins deliver surplus or freshly prepared food from restaurants, events and homes, to homeless people, refugee families and shelters. They also deliver clothing, hygiene items or basic life skills workshops to people-in-need. During COVID-19 all pickups and drop-offs are contactless. -As a Robin, you can help from the comfort of your home – with social media, check-in calls, metrics, partnerships, IT, research, and looking at addressing some of the root causes of homelessness in your city. There is something for everyone to do. Volunteers are required to be over the age of 18. Once the registration form is submitted, our Onboarding Team will reach out to familiarize you with the needs, risks, actions, and expectations.
