Single Women in Motherhood (S.W.I.M.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering single mothers hope, support, and guidance. We empower them to achieve a safe and secure future for themselves and their families through positive programs that promote financial, emotional, and personal growth, self-worth, and intellectual development. Our mission is to enrich the lives of single mothers and their families through accountability, responsibility, and a positive approach to personal development.

An event held once a year at centennial hall where we have diffrrent fishing and charter clubs. Aswell as vendors selling vintage new and used fishing gear.

Special Olympics Ontario/London is dedicated to enriching the lives of Londoners with an intellectual disability through sport. We support 18 different sports with over 400 athletes. Volunteer Opportunities: Assistant Coaches Time Commitment approx 1-2 hours/week

"Saving Lives at Work, Home, and Play" St. John Ambulance is an organization that offers many community services. St. John Ambulance provides comprehensive first aid and CPR courses, community medical first response, youth programs, and therapy dog services. D0001L represents the London medical first responder division in the Southwestern Ontario branch. Our members are volunteer medical first responders who attend community events to provide first aid response in the community. Events include attending community walks, runs, festivals, and concerts. Becoming part of our team will be a good experience for those interested in entering professions in police, firefighting, and health care. This is also a good experience for those who are interested in knowing more about the London community and surrounding Southwestern Ontario area. Our events are as far reaching as Sarnia, Chatham, and Windsor.

The outdated version is available to browse.* St. John's is an arts-loving, progressively-minded religious community with deep roots in London.  We run a thriving social outreach program and are guided by principles of inclusiveness and compassion.  To help with our growing Sunday School, we are seeking volunteers to care for our preschool children during the 10:30am Sunday services.  Volunteers would supervise a small group of children and engage them in imaginative play and simple songs, some of which would be related to Bible stories. This would be ideal opportunity for teenagers looking to fulfil their volunteer hours, or anyone who has experience with children and would like to be of service within a heart-centred, traditional community. Personal affiliation with Christianity is not necessary, only shared values.

St. Joseph’s Health Care London is one of Ontario’s leading teaching hospitals, contributing to the advancement of health care, education and research. We are a partner in London’s academic health sciences community. St. Joseph’s is a Catholic health care organization, owned by the St. Joseph’s Health Care Society of the Roman Catholic Diocese of London and governed by a volunteer board of directors representing the community. Our services are publicly funded.

For over 55 years, St. Leonard’s Community Services, London and Region has been dedicated to a community where everyone feels safe, valued and supported.  St Leonard’s provides a range of services including youth and adult community programs, school-based youth programs, and adult residential programs, focused on individuals at a high risk of, or involved in the Criminal Justice System.

Student Seasonal Service is an organization formed by three Western University students who shares a common interest in business. We specialize in a variety of seasonal yard services such as lawn mowing and leaf raking. Currently, we are offering summer and fall services and free estimates for those who are interested.

Sunfest is Canada’s Premier celebration of World Music & Culture which is held each July in beautiful Victoria Park, London, Ontario. This FREE ADMISSION festival is July 7-10, 2022. Every summer since 1995, Sunfest has brought together thousands of people of all ages and cultures for four days of exemplary music, dance, crafts and cuisine from around the globe. This unique, high profile event features over 30 top professional world music & dance, and jazz ensembles based in Canada and abroad. Over the years, Sunfest has showcased international headliners from nearly every region of our planet, including Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and First Nations territories.

Thames Region Ecological Association, a local environmental charity, is seeking volunteers to help with community programs this summer that support waste reduction and sustainable lifestyles. The Kindness and Smile Zone is a youth led initiative that was started by 14 year old Ayona Jaswal, to help children, especially children in hospitals or clinics, have some fun while learning new things. On our website, you will find different weekly activities for children to do as well as the chance to share your thoughts/work with us! Our mission is simple: Giving children the chance to be creative and have fun, even during the hardest times. The Kindness and Smile Zone also has a program called "Smile Mail" through which we send children kindness cards and letters.
