The Kindness and Smile Zone is a youth led initiative that was started by 14 year old Ayona Jaswal, to help children, especially children in hospitals or clinics, have some fun while learning new things. On our website, you will find different weekly activities for children to do as well as the chance to share your thoughts/work with us! Our mission is simple: Giving children the chance to be creative and have fun, even during the hardest times. The Kindness and Smile Zone also has a program called "Smile Mail" through which we send children kindness cards and letters. We also partner up with other organizations to make cards, share colouring pages, fundraisers, etc. to help more children. You can learn more about us here: https://linktr.ee/thekindnessandsmilezone

The Shoebox Project for Women collects & distributes gift-filled Shoeboxes to women who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness in Canada, US and UK.
For women who have been displaced from their homes and estranged from their families, special occasions can be particularly challenging. Often, women report feeling disconnected from society, invisible and alone. A Shoebox gift is a powerful reminder for a woman that she has not been forgotten and that she remains a valued and respected member of her community.
For those giving gifts, The Shoebox Project is a tangible and creative opportunity to give back directly to someone in your very own community. It’s a small, simple gesture of kindness that has an immediate, positive impact on the woman who receives it.
