LoveYourself Canada is a self-care, mental health and wellness non-profit that uses media and events to spread awareness about self-care. We are looking for some ongoing volunteers to help with our daily operations and annual projects! Results Canada is now accepting applications for its Education and Advocacy Fellowship Program, a 5-month hands-on opportunity to build your leadership, communication, and advocacy skills while generating the political will to end extreme poverty. Open to individuals aged 18 and above across Canada, Fellows engage virtually with peers to deepen their understanding of global health and poverty in low- and middle-income countries, write letters to the editor, raise awareness on social media, and engage with federal decision-makers. Backed by the in-depth research and legislative expertise of Results Canada staff and partners, Results Fellows will realize the incredible power they possess to use their voices. Special Olympics Ontario - London
Volunteer Opportunities Special Olympics Ontario/London is dedicated to enriching the lives of Londoners with an intellectual disability through sport. We support 18 different sports with over 400 athletes. Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Coaches for Active Start - Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/week - Wednesdays - 6:00-6:40 pm ASAP to April 29/26 - Location: Hillcrest Public School, 1231 Fuller St. The role: This program is about physical literacy, learning about taking turns, listening to their coaches and playing as a team. As an assistant coach, you come in and help the athletes through the warm ups, different games, skills, drills, etc I have planned for them. The younger group focuses on basic movement skills, throwing, catching, kicking etc, while the older program begins to work on different sports after getting familiar with the program and equipment.
