Join our Friendly Visiting Program and connect one-on-one with an older adult through weekly phone calls or in-person visits. Just 30 minutes to 1 hour of your time per week can help reduce loneliness and create lasting connections. Visit times are scheduled flexibly between you and your matched client, making it easy to fit into your week while making a big impact!

A morning or afternoon social group/event that promotes health and wellness, social interaction and often includes sharing a meal together. Volunteers help plan, grocery shop, cook, serve a meal, set up/clean up and encourage conversation. Not all locations require set up/clean up. For this role, we are looking for volunteers who have experience working in a kitchen and who have their Safe Food Handler's Certificate, or the equivalent in experience.

Results is an advocacy nonprofit that believes in mobilizing everyday people (our volunteers) to generate the political will to end extreme poverty in low-and middle-income countries. We focus our work on global health, access to quality education and economic opportunities. We direct our energy and efforts at government decision makers like party leaders, Members of Parliament and senators because they have the power to improve policies and make the monetary investments needed to end extreme poverty. We also raise awareness by writing letters to the editor (LTEs) and op-eds, using social media, fundraising and more. Oftentimes the first step is putting these issues on the radar — and keeping the pressure on. It might seem like a small step, but it all adds up into impact. commitment: 1 year minimum, 1-2 hours per week on average support structure: Volunteers (virtually) meet in local groups on a monthly basis and rely on their group leader(s) for guidance. As a volunteer cashier, you will help provide friendly and efficient service to customers while supporting the day-to-day operations of the thrift store. Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the cash register, processing payments, bagging purchases, and answering basic customer questions.A positive attitude, reliability, honesty, and willingness to help others is key. Previous cashier experience is appreciated, but not essentail.

We will be hosting the 59th edition of The Springbank Road Races on Sunday September 27th. Our races this day include a half marathon, 5k, 2.1k and kiddy trot. We are looking for volunteers to help us with various positions on race day including course Marshalls, water stops, food table and bag check. Volunteer positions would run from 8:0am to approximately noon on Sunday morning Sept 27.
