Volunteer Group Mentor | In-School ProgramBig Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area is looking for volunteers ages 18-30 to lead weekly one-hour group mentoring sessions for 14 weeks. Programs include Go Girls!, Game On!, and Healthy Heroes, which help youth build self-esteem, healthy habits, relationship skills, and confidence through engaging activities and positive discussions. Volunteers should be enthusiastic, willing to try new things, and committed to supporting youth development. A Vulnerable Sector Police Check completed within the last six months is required.

Volunteer Opportunity: 1:1 Community-Based MentorOrganization: Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and AreaLocation: London, Ontario and surrounding areaCommitment: 2–4 hours, twice per month | Minimum 12 monthsBig Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area is seeking caring, committed volunteers to become 1:1 Community-Based Mentors for children and youth ages 7–18. This is our traditional mentoring program, designed to match young people who have faced adversity with a positive adult role model who can provide encouragement, stability, and friendship.As a mentor, you’ll spend time building a meaningful relationship by sharing experiences, exploring the community, trying new activities, and simply having fun together. Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area is seeking Fanshawe College students ages 18-28 to mentor high school students through our Pumped for Post-Secondary program. Volunteers co-lead weekly group sessions at Fanshawe College, helping youth build self-esteem, decision-making skills, a sense of purpose, and confidence in their future. This is a rewarding opportunity to develop leadership and facilitation skills while making a meaningful impact on the lives of local students.
