2024 MS Bike - Grand Bend to London

Description: The 2024 MS Bike Grand Bend to London is taking place on July 27th and 28th between the Grand Bend Motorplex and Western University! MS Bike is the largest fundraising cycling series in North America. Cyclists of all ages and fitness levels across Canada come together each year to end Canada’s disease: multiple sclerosis. There are various areas on site such as event set up/wrap up, participant check in area, breakfast area, bike storage, luggage storage, start/finish line cheering, & many more!! Volunteer help is needed to ensure that this event runs smoothly and participants have a great experience while they are biking to raise critical funds to support those affected by MS. Interested? Here’s what we’re looking for: Energized and positive attitude: A friendly face helps create a fun atmosphere! Passion for supporting the MS Community and funding MS research Self‐motivated and reliable; able to fulfill duties on time Previous experience managing people is considered an asset Time Commitment: Attend the event for anywhere from 2‐8 hours on July 27th or 28th depending on your shift and commitment desire Why Volunteer? Volunteer Opportunity: Fitness Coach Time commitment: every third Saturday from 11-12pm We are looking for a Fitness Coach to help out with a 45-50 min class with our athletes about every 3rd week. The idea of our class is to try and get athletes moving around to fun music!
