Summer Night 5k Road Race

Description: We are looking for volunteers to help with our 5k running race. Duties would include, course marshal; water stop;  and bag check. We are needing volunteers from 6:00pm-8:30 pm on Friday July 19th. Race location is at the corner of Richmond St and John St.

2024 MS Bike - Grand Bend to London

Description: The 2024 MS Bike Grand Bend to London is taking place on July 27th and 28th between the Grand Bend Motorplex and Western University! MS Bike is the largest fundraising cycling series in North America. Cyclists of all ages and fitness levels across Canada come together each year to end Canada’s disease: multiple sclerosis.   There are various areas on site such as event set up/wrap up, participant check in area, breakfast area, bike storage, luggage storage, start/finish line cheering, & many more!!  Volunteer help is needed to ensure that this event runs smoothly and participants have a great experience while they are biking to raise critical funds to support those affected by MS.   Interested? Here’s what we’re looking for: Energized and positive attitude: A friendly face helps create a fun atmosphere! Passion for supporting the MS Community and funding MS research Self‐motivated and reliable; able to fulfill duties on time Previous experience managing people is considered an asset   Time Commitment: Attend the event for anywhere from 2‐8 hours on July 27th or 28th depending on your shift and commitment desire   Why Volunteer? Gain valuable experience and skills by supporting the organization of a well‐recognized signature event while working with Experienced organizing team members and comprehensive resources Contribute your time to an important cause and see your impact on the organization Obtain a reference letter Build a strong network and connect with the MS community   Sign up to volunteer today and help create positive change!
